Knock Boxes

A Knock Box is a sturdy drawer used to store spent espresso grounds, called a puck, that can withstand the repetitive knocking and tapping used to dislodge the puck. Made out of stainless steel or plastic, it has a strong bash bar against which a portafilter is tapped to release the puck.
