The ancient tradition of tea is both long and complex, spanning across different cultures and several thousands of years. The British may have adopted tea as their quintessential signature serve over the past 350 years, but it all began in China, where tea was frequently consumed during the Han dynasty in the second century BC and later adopted as a national drink under the Tang dynasty in 618 – 906 AD. We do however come across stories referring to myths as far back as 2737 BC. Our range of Hario tea drippers offer a simple design that allows you to brew loose leaf tea with no fuss.
